Hello Scotty and the community,
A local dealer has a 2017 Volvo XC60 T6 Dynamic for sale for 19k and change. It has just under 85,000 miles on it.
I really like the Volvo, and am at the stage in my life where I'd like a bit of luxury in my daily driver. Volvo seems to have a pretty good reputation for reliability and safety, but I don't have a lot of experience with them.
Complicating matters is that the dealer recently got in a 2013 Toyota RAV4 XLE with only 48,000 miles for basically the same price. The RAV can't compete with the Volvo in terms of luxury, but it's still pretty darn nice. And it's hard to pass on a Toyota with so few miles.
As background, I tend to keep cars a long time and drive them until the wheels fall off. So, long-term reliability is a must.
Obviously, I'd have a mechanic look at whatever vehicle I chose before buying, but I was hoping ya'll could give me some feedback or experiences with either vehicle.
TIA.

DID have a good reputation. They didn't survive the 2008 crisis and sold it to the Chinese (Zhejiang Geely) in 2010, and we all know what follows. So, Volvo exists in name only.
