Issues starting my Solara

My roommates 2007 Toyota Solara has been occasionally having trouble starting. We went to a gas station and stayed inside for a few minutes, and we came back the car wouldn't start. We had to crank it for 10 minutes on and off before it started to turn over and eventually it kicked into life. It's been the same thing to get it to work, just constantly cranking it when it refuses to start. He has also noticed some Acceleration issues. I'm thinking it's the fuel pump or maybe the fuel injectors. The batteries are new, the starter is fine, the spark plugs are still new.

Is it only after filling the tank or it happens every time?

It doesn't seem to be related to filling it up.

Change the fuel filter and then Pressure test the fuel line.
