Hey Scotty,
Even though the Italians don't know how to make cars that last, can they make leather interiors that last?

Firstly, @mmj is exactly right....the car companies do not make their own leather. Ferrari, for example, uses an extremely high end leather designer called Poltrona Frau.
The materials they use in those cars are top of the line, so of course you're going to see them last a lot longer than leather seats found in a Chevrolet Impala, etc.
Many older, collectible Ferraris still have interiors that look like new decades later. Of course, you are paying a massive price difference for that quality.
