My wife has a 2014 jeep cherokee trailhawk about 170k she swears that if you put low grade octane she hears a klicking like noises. If she puts in mid grade it is quite. I don't hear the difference but she drives it most. Is this a legitimate thing or is she off her rocker? I have seen your videos and told her the minute it starts having major engine or transmission problems we are getting ride of it.

I believe her that she hears something, but I do not think it's related to the fuel.

As for what to tell her... that's your department.

There is a slim chance but i doubt it. See how she drives maybe she drives in different way. Maybe the lower gaś has worse additives and she can hear pump, its common for chrysler pumps to go bad. Maybe she drives more economiclly at lower grade gaś and has Lower rpm and Oil pressure is lower. All Just maybe. Other then that... Less power at lower gaś less torque some parts could be worn and with less torque they are not pushed oo much and can wobble. But its all Just... Maybe.
