Its 2017 jeep compass and gives a jerk, kinda slips gear when around speed of 50 km/hr, I see the the main transmission seal is leaking from front a little, so should I change the fluid or what could be the solution?

How many miles? What type of transmission (CVT, conventional?) Has the transmission been serviced regularly?
what could be the solution?
The solution could be anything from being low on fluid to needing a new transmission. More details are needed.
