Hello Everyone,
I drive a 2008 Toyota Tundra Limited with 187,000 miles on the dash. Now that it has been getting colder out sometimes when I start up the truck the instrument cluster is delayed coming on. After the truck warms up for a minute or two the instrument cluster will come on like normal.
Everything else works just fine even while the instrument cluster is still off.
Has anyone ever experienced this before?
Thank you
I would say it's a pretty rare symptom, but likely with a very common cause: electrical fault. A loose connection somewhere that makes contact after the metals heat up and expand. Grab yourself an electrical schematic on charm.li and go to work tracing the circuit. If you're lucky it's just a bad fuse or relay or something.
