Hello! I need help with choosing tires for my 2014 Jeep Patriot sport. I have been researching and researching and just don’t know, ugh! I live in Colorado, am a property manager so lots of driving around town. Some long drives out to Cali to visit kids. Most likely will get a tow hitch - camping/traveling. Thank you!
I personally like the Michelin tires
Thumbs up - thanks!
Unfortunately I don’t think there are a lot of choices in the Patriot stock sizes, especially if you have the 16inch rims. And driving around Colorado, where you have deep snow, can be a challenge for tires.
In Michelin, the Premier AS and defender T+h will work. Firestone is not a great brand, but their new Destination LE3 looks promising.
But my best recommendation for what you ask, if your local tire shop can find a size that will fit, is the Michelin Defender LTX M/S - awesome highway tire and very good in the snow. My second choice (same caveats) would be the Continental TerrainContact HT (or AT if you really want snow traction).
Thank you! Very helpful. I was looking at the Michelin but too many options.
