I’ve got a 2005 Jeep TJ unlimited with the 4.0 automatic. So what do you think would be causing my Jeep to have a hesitation when it is in overdrive. It normally is around 1500-1750 rpm. Normally if it happens it is in the rpm range running between 45 and 50 mph and when hitting a slight incline where it’s almost ready to down shift but not quite. I’m guessing it’s a transmission shudder but this is the only time it’ll do it. If you stomp the gas to make it go ahead and down shift it will do so with no issue. Thanks
Well if it only does it and overdrive then yeah you got a problem with the overdrive gear. If it was shot and it was shutter and all gears not just in one so I can't really be the torque converter because it would do an all gears then
