Hi Scotty,
I have a Mazda 3 2005 180k miles automatic transmission.
It runs very smooth. However for every cold start when the car wasn’t driven for hours, such as in the morning, I notice the car jerks a bit going from gear 1 to 2.
What I usually do is when it’s almost the point that it’ll shift the gear, I ease on the gas a little bit, this almost eliminates the jerk.
What’s going on?
All this happens after I replaced the speed sensor of the transmission.

Old age in a week transmission does that live with it
