- Hey Scotty. I've got a 2008 Mercedes Benz E63 AMG with 124k miles. Automatic transmission 722.9 7-speed. Car jerks and rocks back and forth on cold starts but runs perfectly smooth when at operating temperature. No codes and no check engine light when the rocking and jerking happens. Any ideas on how to visually diagnose the issue? Thank you and have a great day!
Is power/acceleration affected too?

Visually check all your vacuum line connections, PCV valve.

Does this vehicle have rubber engine (and transmission) mounts?
