Hi all. I know this is a car forum but sometimes questions are answered about similar things and I'm stuck. I have an 07 kawasaki jetski ultra lx with two problems that might be related. The main one is that it cranks but doesn't start. I checked spark and it's there at the plugs, sprayed starting fluid in the air filter inlet, no luck. Replaced the battery with a good one. Checked the fuel level, although fuel wouldnt be an issue if spraying starting fluid. I'm stumped. The second issue is an FI code on the dash, which is a caa1 code for a bad camshaft position sensor. Tested the sensor for resistance and it is within spec, but i replaced it with a new dealer one just in case and did not clear the code or help with the starting. Any ideas?
