Dear Scotty,
Love watching your videos and the immense knowledge you have. Please help me make decision. Do I keep my BMW 3GT and drive it until 100k miles or Trade for a regular practical versatile vehicle that can carry 7 passengers when required or carry good amout of cargo?
Currently I have a 2014 model BMW 3 Series GT (Gran Turismo)All wheel drive, Automatic Transmission with 73,000 miles in Massachusetts which is a versatile car with huge cargo, in fact I moved most of my things in my car. My friends calls my car BMW truck.
I am in my olders 20s and dont want to drive Toyota Sienna which however makes the most practical move but I am considering the newly launched New Kia Sorento PHEV or used/preoned 2018 to 2020 Mazda CX9 Touring or a New Infiniti QX60 (soon to be launched) or Please suggest me some cars that is versatile in nature.
Your reply is much appreciated!
Micki
You are at the point when the BMW is going to turn into a money pit just on maintenance. If you don’t mind spending the cash of maintenance or doing the work yourself, keep the BMW. But if you don’t want to spend that money or do the work, get rid of it.
Of the choices you listed, I’d go CX-9 easy. I wouldn’t even consider the others.
I'd personally get rid of the bmw asap, as for versatility that all depends on how much you need.
Being in Ma, I'd go for a crv or rav4.
Crv and rav 4 are not 3 row plus its too generic to own...everyone has one! I
The good thing about getting a car that everyone has is that parts tend to be cheaper.
All cars are generic, not one is made for the individual or it would cost 50x more.
If you want "unique" or whatever then put banana stickers all over it.
Don't trade it. Sell it for top dollar and get the SUV.
