Hello good day is a kia picanton with a standard tranny good as a city car ??? and advise on what should i buy as a small compact car ??

For that size of car, I’d rather get a Honda Jazz or a Toyota Yaris with a manual transmission. They’re both much, much better than the Kia Picanto.
At 8yrs, you’ll run into quite a few part replacements on the Picanto, as compared to the Jazz or Yaris.
No matter which car you buy, get it checked out by an honest mechanic before you buy it.

I'm not sure what kind of options you have, but I totally agree with the gentleman above. Go with Toyota or Honda. Hyundais are good only for first couple of years.

- hi guys me again should i take it to a dealer for a pre purchase inspection i dont know any mechanics in my area

Honda Jazz is better but if your happy with 160.000 kilometers or so out of a car it should be decent.
