Hi. My 2020 Kia Soul EX has the Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) with Normal and Sport Mode. Is it OK to switch repeatedly from "Normal/automatic shift" mode to "Sport/manual shift" mode to accelerate hard, and then back to Normal for cruising?

I see no reason why not.
But can't you just press the accelerator harder?
