Hello,
After learning about enhanced rust protection recommendations such as Krown oil through my previous post on car washes I have been researching rust protection and Krown Oil as advised. I am not in a position to DIY since I am not experienced, do t have the equipment and fear I would not sufficiently desalt and protect all susceptible areas inside and out. Krown Oil seems to be a top suggested product and they have service centers that apply the oil throughout the car. Ive watched Krown and third party videos and its amazing how thorough they are. I also noticed that the Krown service centers drill holes in the doors to insert oil inside. I love the idea of doing this service every yesr for $150 and not worrying as much about car washes all the time. I am in the rust belt and really want to have my new used 2010 Highlander last ten or more years. A few questions;
1. Krown states that their product is safe for all components of vehicles invluding wires and cables etc. Is that accurate? If my Mom a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has common electrical issues is that inside the doors Krown application safe? inside the doors?
2. If I do this service do I still need to regularly wash underneath to desalt throughout winter?
3. Does anyone have first hand experience with using this service year after year and can validate that these invasive procedures are safe and worthwhile or just share any other thiughts.
thanks in advance!
All set I looked this up by searching krown and got some insights.
