Hi Scotty,
I know this is not a typical car question but your opinion would still be very valuable.
We live in NYC and are planning to buy a piece of land in Upstate NY 2 hours from the city (a few acres) with a little river on it. We are thinking about buying the Lance 2465 trailer camper (Lance's biggest trailer model). The goal is NOT to travel with it,but to park it on the property in the woods for offgrid living for a couple of days a month (family of 4 with 2 small kids).
What's your opinion on the Lance 2465? Is the quality still top notch or going down? I see used models from 2018-2020 for 40k$ (new 60-70k$).
Thanks in advance as always for your valuable help.
Stan
Lance is one of the best. They don’t have fancy styling (like airstream) but they use quality components. Also, many of their models have insulated tanks and plumbing, so they are legitimate 4-season campers.
For your stated use, Lance is probably the first round draft choice.
