Scotty.
My employer wants to replace my current AWD Chevy Equinox with a new Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. I know both vehilces I mentioned are rolling piles of crap, but in my opionion, the Equinox is the lesser of two evile. The Pacifica seems to get good ratings online as JD Power and others rank them high. Please help me find something that will convince the pencil pushers to leave well enough alone and stop pushing the "Green" electric initiative. Thank you.
Extrapolate the TCO for each vehicle. Also use a Toyota Sienna and comparable Toyota SUV to the Equinox in your calculations.
TCO stands for total cost of ownership. If they see that the TCO is more for one vehicle than another vehicle, they may be more inclined to go for the lesser TCO.
they are likely leased which means they won't be paying for batteries or other expensive components. With the fleet deals that companies that companies get with domestics, the TCO will likely be very, very low compared to Toyota.
JD Power is pay to play. I saw completely different advertising the other day that had nothing to do with cars. Unless you have something like solar, hydroelectric or geothermal energy, you're just moving CO2 from your tailpipe to the power plant's. "Green" electricity is, in most cases, not green.
stop pushing the "Green" electric initiative
If they want to get hybrid because of this well Toyota makes really good hybrid and even plug in hybrid.
and forget about JD Power; it's a paid ad agency.

it's probably not an option
