Cheap truck or SUV for outdoor activities and shtf

Hello everyone! I'm looking for a good backup vehicle to my primary that I can use for outdoor related activities. I would like something below 10k that would be good for hunting/ fishing/ camping/ light off roading or for bugging out. My daily is currently a 2019 Audi TT RS, and this vehicle would be for activities that I wouldn't want to subject that car to. It doesn't have to be fancy, but I want it to be reliable because having a breakdown in the middle of nowhere would be a bad day. Any recommendations?

What are your options?

Yeah. Scotty just did a video on a 1999 Suburban. Fits the bill perfect.

The weak spot is the transmission; look for one that has never towed or has had the transmission replaced.

Any 4x4 3rd generation 4Runner ('96-'02) that has been well-cared for. The 6-banger will run forever. My '99 just turned 400k miles (not a lot for these engines) and it runs like a top. I haul my Labrador retriever and camping gear all over. It's really her truck...I'm just the chauffeur 🙂
