My son has a 2011 Ford fusion 2.5 automatic front wheel drive. My son replaced his back brake pads and after bleeding them they went completely to the floor. Replaced calipers, same problem, replaced master cylinder, same problem. Finally we replaced the brake booster and still they go to the floor. We are pulling our hair out now. Any help will be appreciated.
Why did he bleed the brakes after changing brake pads? It's not needed unless maybe you're flushing old fluid out to be replaced by fresh stuff. How were the brakes bled? Pressure bleed at the master cylinder? Suction at the brake bleeders? Old school method with the brake pedal? Did you bench-bleed the new master cylinder?
Thowing parts at a problem rarely has a good result and it sounds like a fully-loaded parts cannon was employed here. In any event, a lot of ABS-equipped cars require a bidirectional scan tool for bleeding the brakes however I don't know if the Fusion is one of them.
This video purports to show a successful bleeding procedure for the 2011-2012 Fusion, so it may help:
