I have a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica that overheated back in 2024 and has been sitting since. I paid a mobile mechanic to come out, he told me by looking at the coolant reservoir looks milky. He also said that he saw a hole in a hose under the car that's leaking fluid. The dipstick was clean and there was no white smoke. Almost 2 years later I just jumped it off and starts and it sounds like it has no issues. Could it have been something other then blown head gasket?
You might want to check for combustion gases in the coolant. Scotty shows how in the following video:
Blown head gaskets are some of the easiest things to spot, check the engine oil, check the coolant, check the exhaust if it has any smoke when driving or revving, check if it overheats.
It's not necessary to pay someone to diagnose a blown head gasket. Part stores have 10-$20 kits to check it yourself if your unsure, and if it it a blown head gasket, try your luck with a head gasket sealer and sell it
