Low Oil Pressure Notice

So today when I was driving my 2003 Chevy Suburban with about 180k miles on it I start geting notices on the dashboard that I have low oil pressure.  I have not noticed any change in the way my Suburban idles or drives. I change the oil reguarly and last year I switched to full synthetic which I did years ago in my 2006 Chevy Suburban and never had any issues.  Could the low oil pressure be related to the change in oil from regular to synthetic?  Any suggestions as to what else to investigate as to why this is occurring?  Thank you so much.

Verify your actual oil pressure with a mechanical test gauge.

only if you changed viscosity.
