I drive a 2023 Dodge Charger RT (5.7 L Hemi) that currently has about 37,000 miles on it. Recently, I took it to the dealership to have the camshaft replaced (Hemi tick is what they told me it was.) It was covered by the power train warranty, and is running much better, but now there is a rumbling sound in the engine that comes and goes, seemingly when traveling at a constant speed between 30-40 mph, but no warning lights come up, and I have not yet taken it to the dealer to see if it’s throwing any codes. Any idea what this could be? I’d compare it to the sound of driving over a rumble strip.
Try recording the noise and posting, here's how: https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/notice/read-this-first/#post-183035Recently, I took it to the dealership to have the camshaft replace
Since the noise started after the dealer's warranty work you should take it back to them sooner rather than later. Scotty has made several videos on how to find car noises: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqLXwN2GNeU ,
