Parasitic drain

Hello, I have a question. I have a 2005 Honda Civic Sports Edition with ~130k miles. A month ago, I put in a new battery. But all of a sudden, the battery was drained and the car wouldn’t start. The car had no power at all; the lights, horn, and locks weren’t working. The day before this, the battery light on the dashboard appeared. So, I had to replace the battery again. Even after replacing the battery a second time, the battery light is still on.

I don’t have a battery tester or anything of the sort. I just had someone from AAA run a test and they saw that the alternator is good. I also haven’t looked at the fuse. What is causing the battery to drain?

Thank you for the help.

What is causing the battery to drain?

Aside from checking the obvious such as whether any lights or anything else have been left on, why not do a little troubleshooting to find out?
