I was wondering, what’s the most and/or average maximum mileage for any late 2000s (06, 07, 08) TL? I know someone thinking of selling theirs with 180,000 miles with an automatic transmission. Would it be worth it for $4,000 or $5,000? How much longer could it go? It has been properly maintained. Thoughts?
Hey Scotty, Huge fan, Girlfriend has a 2012 Acura TL, 90k miles on it, burns oil like a kerosene lamp, Honda admitted to faulty rings on these V6 engines getting clogged up with carbon for causing it but won't say much about it to customers. Currently only two YouTube videos about this problem of using a quart of oil every 1000 miles. Heard that Honda had a recall on these cars to replace the pistons and rings, but when I went to the dealership to ask about it, they looked at me like I had a spider crawling out of my left ear.. Help!!
