Scotty i have a 97 honda civic hatchback, the engine(d16y7) feels lazy and does not accelerate as it should, it redlines at 3.5kRPM then bounces off rev limiter there, the code i got (po335) is a crankposition sensor, which i replaced, and still has the exact same issue and code present.
P.S. ive replaced, distributor, fuel pump and filter, spark plugs, sensor on the intake/filter box.
Is redline under load AND not under load? Or in neutral will it rev higher than 3.5k? If this is the case, I'd be looking at fuel pressures on the rail under load (yea, saw you replaced pump and filter...did you check pressure before you replaced them?). With that said, I'd be concentrating on the 335 code as that will have to go away/get fixed for it to run right. Follow/check wiring harness from sensor to ecm.
