Hi,
I have been researching the Mazda CX5 and the reviews written for the 2017-2019 models have sprinkled comments saying that the smart city brakes system was failing and leading the unintentional collisions.
My question is: Can this be avoided by turning that feature off? I really like the vehicle but am hesitant due to these reports.

Based on the car manual, you can turn it off manually.
