Coolant Temperature Warning Help

Hello All!

I am grateful to any ideas that anyone has as I am stumped. My 2015 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring was low on coolant in November but I  bought the wrong coolant (I bought wrong kind online). Needless to say I got an error light that my coolant temp sensors were shot and the scan tool confirmed it. I replaced the thermostat and both sensors in November as well as replacing the coolant with the correct kind for Asian vehicles. Now in June I had a rapid coolant temp warning followed by same sensor error codes. I again replaced all three with the warning still present. My temp rises above 250 degrees in a very short time so I was thinking of flushing the radiator. I did and it didn’t seem very dirty. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

Make sure you got all the air out of the cooling system. Check for radiator clogs that may not have come out.  (Clogs would show up as cold spots.) Check thermostat operation. (Is it OEM or aftermarket?) Another thing to look at is the water pump. Even if not leaking, the impeller could be loose or corroded.

I am open to any suggestions. I have a 2015 Mazda CX5 that had an overheating issue. I ended up replacing the water pump, radiator, and both temp sensors. I did a leak test first for the head gasket but it said it was ok. I put head gasket sealer and ran through it per Scotty’s video. I then replaced the radiator which fixed the issue. Two months later I am getting the same error code (temp sensor) but the car temperature seems to be ok. I went to change the back sensor as the heat takes awhile to heat up and saw the dreaded milky fluid in the heater core. I gave it another gasket leak test and it was fine again. What does everyone recommend? Do I flush out the system again? Maybe run another leak sealer, then drain and fill? Thanks in advance

Full code and definition means this:
P011A - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1/2 Correlation

(you can just type the code into a web search to find its meaning)
