Leg room and head room - best Toyota/Honda/Mazda SUVs ?

Scotty,

We are in Canada and want a quality used Toyota/Honda/Mazda SUV, with lots of footwell and head room. Can you recommend models in the 2006 - 2014 model year ? After watching many of your videos, it is apparent that virtually no domestic SUV is worthwhile, and the Toyota/Honda/Mazda products seem to have your highest recommendations. My feet are size 15 and I am 6'4" tall, so many of the sedans and smaller SUVs are too low for me to climb into. I was leaning toward only V6 and AWD, but your Youtube videos convinced me to consider 4 cylinder engines, although normally-aspirated ones only.

So, thoughts on SUV models 2006 - 2104 in the Toyota/Honda/Mazda product lines?

Thanks and best of luck in TN ! We look forward to being able to visit your state after the Covid-19 risk is gone.

Eric in British Columbia, Canada.

The biggest Toyota SUV is probably the Sequoia.

The biggest Honda SUV is probably the Pilot.  The Second Generation Pilot, which is in your year range, seems the biggest Pilot, but it could just be a visual illusion.

The third generation CRV and fourth generation RAV4, may be borderline big enough.  Any prior generations would probably be too small.

What are your thoughts on the 2.5 Mazda CX-5? They are faster than the 2.0. Is it too small? There is also the Toyota Highlander and Honda CR-V.

I don't know too much about the longevity, but I've gone on rides in my friends Gen 1 and Gen 2, and I thought they had impressive quality.

I would happily consider a CX-5. It's about the size of a RAV4 or CRV.

Yeah. About the longevity, please watch these videos by Scotty on the Mazda CX-5:

Also, the 2012-2014 CR-V is also a pretty good car but I would check out the Mazda as well because these days the top brands are Toyota Honda and Mazda.
