Hey Scotty, what's your opinion on an 2014 Lexus ct 200h? I love the gas mileage and now I'm retired I wanna do more day trips. I also want a dependable car that will last, without needing to many repairs. I already have a Prius, but we want something more comfortable for as we age. I trust your knowledge. Thanks for helping!
What type of vehicle do you want? Be specific
I guess you want a bigger vehicle. If so, check the Toyota RAV4 used instead of the ones from the 2009-2011(oil burning problems). Those can last a long time. If you want a smaller vehicle, check out the Toyota Camrys used without the 2AZ-FE engine(oil burning problems).
That model never quite became a sales leader, though I personally like the looks and proportions of it. I'm not sure it's more comfortable than a prius, though; priuses are usually pretty comfortable.
As far as dependability and repairs, the key with most Lexus hybrids is the battery pack. Has it been replaced? Was it fully replaced with new or was it a refurb? Was it replaced with Lexus OEM battery, reputable aftermarket battery, or off-brand? You would need to know the details to get a fair understanding of any specific unit you consider buying.
