My Ford 500 was recently totaled in a t-bone accident. I am currently looking at buying a 2012 Scion XB with 145,705 miles on it for $5,471. Is this a good deal? It has been registered in Illinois it's entire life -- and I am looking for a car with ample storage for the city in Chicago.
What should I be looking for when I check this bad boy out?

This might be helpful - oil burning seems to be the big problem.
Yes they are good cars. Make sure to have a mechanic check it out and make sure it isn't an oil burner, but that was mostly fixed before the year you are considering. Price depends on location and many other factors, but if its a clean title its an alright price and I would go for it given it passes inspection.
