- Hey Scotty I saw a Lexus IS250 6 speed manual transmission with 245k "highway miles" for $6k , it's rare to find and I am thinking to buy it, do you think it's a good buy?

I would get it checked out by a mechanic and for those miles, it's more a $3k to $4k car. Unless you live in California or New York.
Thank you Mod_Man. I live in central TX, the car is in San Antonio, it's really, really hard to find it with manual transmission.

I would a. have a mechanic check it out and b. haggle to like no more than 4 grand.
