Going car hunting this weekend and was considering checking out a Hyundai Veloster, Honda Civic and of course Toyota Corolla but if Hyundai Veloster last long for at least 200 or 300 miles I’ll definitely get one. So what should I do?

The Hyundai won't go 200k to 300k miles. Your other choices are good, but avoid that one.

If you want something a little more sporty feeling and better handling, go with the Civic. If you don't really care about that and only want reliability, go with the Corolla - you can usually get them a couple thousand dollars cheaper than a Civic.

The Veloster would last no more than 120k miles.

I would go definetly (with some year exceptions) a Civic or Corolla.

Civic or Corolla for sure.

If you want something reliable and fun, based in your taste, consider Honda fit with a manual transmission.
