Hi, please has anyone ever had this error on their lexus ls 460 "Check headlight system". https://postimg.cc/7GPpH6B5
The low beam points too low and I don't know if it's just my car, but prior to this error when turn on the high beams, the second pair of bulbs don't turn on, the low beam seems to receive more power and raises up. ( not sure why there is a second set of headlights for high beam when they don't even come on)
Called the closest dealership to me and they said a diagnostic fee will be 190 bucks.
Trying to figure out if it is something that can be resolved with having to there. Also will an independent mechanic be able to fix this

Firestone? Meineke? Surely you jest. The horror stories coming out of those kind of chain shops are endless.

A private shop is where you want to take it. Ask friends and associates if they know of a trustworthy shop/mechanic. Take @chucktobias advice, don't make the mistake of going to one of those 'chain stores'.

not necessarily. Well equipped shop that's set up for Toyotas should be able to do it, and will probably charge less.
