I have a 2000 Chevy 1500 2wd with a 5.3. My transmission Line came off and leaked all the fluids since then I have fixed the leak but when I start the truck and begin driving it shifts ok but once I get to a stop sign it begins to struggle to take off like it’s not in the right gear and doesn’t shift anymore just says in the low or high gear did I blow my transmission??

did you top off the fluid , and check the level on the dipstick?
did you shift through all the gears a few times to get rid of all the air?

if you did all that and it still doesn't shift, then probably yes. 23yo transmission probably didn't have much life left in it anyway.
How many miles on the transmission? Did you service it regularly?
