Hi Scotty,
I am asking on behalf of my father in which his 2007 Lexus LS 460L radio/stereo is having issues getting a signal as his basic audio was cutting in and out for a few months, but then stopped working all of a sudden entirely.
We don't know what the problem could be and I did some research into other LS 460 owners having similar problems. Some decided to take the stereo/radio out. Its a hard item to find and somewhat an expensive item to find brand new or second hand that is not damaged or similarly having issues. I also saw that some owners decided to upgrade to a GROM Audio VLine upgrade to add new apps/features, but wondering if this will solve the issue?
I was wondering if it was electrical/sensor based instead of the stereo itself if a loom was compromised or short circuiting? What should I do to solve the problem and which local Toronto, ON area automotive stereo/radio outlets do you recommend if its not an easy DIY problem to sort out? Is there a way to determine a good automotive audio store outlet over a bad one?
Thank you Scotty, my friends, family and I are big fans of yours.

My father clarified that he took it took it to a technician and they pointed out that the code was towards the amplifier in the trunk. Everything in the built in radio/stereo lights up for him to change the tune, but no audio is coming out.
Use the car manual and find the fuse locations for speakers and check them. If that was fine, there should be either some sort of wiring issue or computer issue.
