Light clunk upon deceleration

Hey Scotty,

I bought a used 2019 ford f150 XLT 4x4 5.0 with 32500 miles. Everything checked out when I bought it from butler Ford dealership in Ashland, OR. They reset the transmission adaptive learning. However, occasionally ill hear a light clunk when decelerating. Could it be a loose or worn transmission mount? Thanks!

Mike

Could be. Or it could be worn/sticking driveline components.

Have a mechanic look at it. could be a lot of things, usually nothing severe.

maybe an engine/torque mount?

If your car is in adaptive learning, make sure to drive it “correctly”. Ford transmissions are infamous for leaning “bad habits”
