Light issue and preventive maintaince

Ford Fiesta 1.5 TDCI 2015 292.000km 40.000km/year(80% highway) Europe

At the MOT test they noticed that the light gain of the front lights was low. After that I changed the bulbs for Philips purple series H7 which seems brighter in the dark. However, there is not an even spot of light in front of the car on the road but more something what looks like a pair of sunglass shaped figures with light around it. I changed adjusting the height but that does not make much of a difference. What can this be?

Also, with these fairly high km's, what can I do myself as preventive maintaince? I am invested emotionally in the car and want it to last as long as possible as our main daily driver.

Thank you already {black}

For the headlights you can buy a good pair of falcen LED it may still look blurred but it is so bright that it won't make a difference

Make sure to change all your fluids and the proper times
