Mystery oil vs Bernie's ATS treatment

I bought a 2004  Honda Element k24 auto with 200k miles. When I adjusted the valves, I did see some buildup in the head. I treated my oil and gas with Mystery Oil followed by an oil change and fresh gas. Did using mystery oil do any good for either the oil or gas systems? Should I instead use Bernies ATS treatment for the oil and/or gas? Thanks!

Marvel Mystery Oil is a 100-year-old product that may help in some circumstances. I've found that the best use for it is freeing up stuck engines that have not run in a long time.

so basically the active ingredient is paint thinner/kerosene. Which is what I use to clean my chainsaw chains.

Yes, that appears to be the "mystery" they've been selling for the last 100 years.

So according to his description, one could also use this product to clean greasy, grimy, gunked-up hands and soften them at the same time. Why, that’s absolutely Marvel-ous! 🤗
