Which Camry should I buy?

Hello Scotty
I want a Camry that will last me 15 years with minimal problems
Shall I get a brand new 2024 Toyota Camry XSE Petrol or XSE Hybrid?

I like the smooth feeling of a CVT and the efficiency of a hybrid Camry.
But also I don’t want to spend all the money that I have saved from a hybrid on its repairs and maintenance.

What do you think and thank you a lot!

And will the normal automatic engine of a petrol camry get laggy overtime ?

or shall I skip all the hustle and wait for the 2025 model? Thanks!

The way new cars are put together these days, good luck with that.

Well at least which option from the two will get me as close as possible to my goal?
Thank you

Up to 10 years it's probably a toss-up. Beyond that the gas-only version would have less to go wrong with it as it gets older.

Ah I see, thank you!

I think that's realistic

I think the cost of ownership is still pretty good. You will get a big fat bill for the battery after around 10 years, but all things considered, they're still very reliable. If you put little bit of money aside every year it's not such a shock.

a tiny bit. Barely noticeable.

I wouldn't expect it to be any better. If anything, the government will keep pressing the thumb down on them, and they'll get worse.
