When I turn my car off my parking lights my dash lights in my rear tail lights stay on does anyone know why??
Is this after you turned the switch to off?
If you turn the lights off after you turned off the engine, there is a delay in the lights and it will stay on for about a minute.
If I turn the car completely off and the light switch is completely off my parking lights my dashboard lights and my tail lights are still on
What type of car, is it new to you? If it has a key fob, it you press the door lock a couple of times, does that not turn them off?
It's a 94 Celica GT that I've had for over a year and all of a sudden it rained and I went out the next morning my battery was dead and the lights wouldn't turn off
Weird. I know a dead battery can cause cars to do strange things. Its not completely dead or the lights would be off. First I would disconnect the battery then maybe try to charge it outside of the car and put it back on and see what happens. If it wont charge and it may not then I would probably buy another battery and try to put it in myself and see what happens. That's a lot cheaper than having it towed somewhere.
