Hey Scotty, what specifically is it about jeep wranglers that make them unreliable as you say? I have a few buddies who have bought a few jeeps between 2015-and 2018 all of them either the sport or willys editions and all have manual transmissions. I was thinking of getting one also a manual.
neither of them have had any issues with them.
alone has 85,000 miles the other has 46,000.
like me they take very good care of their stuff oil, trans, and diff fluids.
People say that the weak parts are the electronics when they break. The engines and transmissions used in the newer ones are fine. They can be ok cars if you take care of them.
Jeeps in general just aren't built well. There are a lot of electrical issues and the quality is just not there. But if you like to gamble, go ahead.
