Need to purchase a new(used) car. I saw the following on CarFax
As far as CarFax report, No accidents, one driver, personal use
1. 2013 Cadillac XTS Luxury - miles 175,000 - $8000
2. 2015 Dodge Grand Caravane SE - miles 67,000 - $12,000
3.2013 Honda Odyssey EX - miles 139,000 - $13,000
4. 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE - miles 190,500 - $11,000
5. Any other suggestions...

About my driving habits:
My job is 50 miles away from my home thus I accumulate approximately 550 miles a week, putting the factor of grocery shopping, etc.
I am married and have two little girls.
As for vacations, we go on road trips around my state (CT)
Thank you for taking the time and I truly do enjoy your YouTube videos.
two little kids in car seats
Unless you're planing on expanding the family even more, me it sounds like all you need is a hatchback / sedan.
Maybe an SUV, although currently due to the market, they tend to be even more overpriced than minivans.
3.2013 Honda Odyssey EX - miles 139,000 - $13,000
As far as the options, this sounds like the best one - although used car prices are still insane.
It's still somewhat high millage and you definitely should perform a thorough pre-purchase inspection (!)
Sorry to bug you but also looking at:
2012 Toyota Sienna LE 8-Passenger V6 - $12,595 - 138000mil
Watching Scotty on youtube I know he talks highly of Toyota
At roughly the same price and millage - The Sienna is a way better option.
But make sure it's also in good condition.
Thank you for all your advise and your time Dan

In general Carfax report is a good starting point but never go based off of Carfax only; always have a trusted independent mechanic check the car too.
From the above options the Honda Odyssey; used car prices are high these days so that $13k is normal in this market.
Must it be only a minivan?
Hello InThrustWeTrust,
With having two little kids in car seats and taking a lot of road trips, I think a minivan would be more ideal but willing to take any advise.

If this Sienna passes a pre purchase inspection, go for it.
If you’re open to sedans, check out the Camry and Avalon.
All the best!
