My 2019 gmc 2500 hd 6.6 diesel 50,098 mileage truck code for particulate matter sensor ie def system low voltage keeps turning on my check engine light.  It only happens after I fill up the gas tank. It runs fine.  What the heck is going on? Bad Chinese sensor🤷‍♂️ or something else? Def fluid is full btw.

corrosion in the connector?

Okay so Where and how to fix? I’m not familiar w def systems and sensors. This is my first diesel truck.

how you fix it depends on what the problem is. You'll have to get in there and investigate.
If I were you , I would also check to see if there are any technical bulletins about it.

Thanks for your help.
Looks like I bought a lemon in a long line of lemons when it comes to gm def diesel engines. I will be trading this off very soon. Typical nowadays from gm imo God help us all

gm isn't alone. Diesel engine regulations have made them nightmares to maintain across the board. Anyway it's too early to get melodramatic. This might still be a trivial fix.
