I am still looking for the ideal manual transmission compact suv or crossover… saw this listing on CL
MANUAL Transmission 2006 Saturn Vue. 101k 4 cylinder; FWD
for $3300…
Too good to be true?
Is this a good price?
Saturn's were decent vehicles especially paired to a manual transmission but always have a mechanic to check it out first before buying.
If the vehicle gets a clean bill of health from a mechanic, I'd say it's a pretty good deal. I searched a few car websites and dealers in my area are selling Vue's of similar age with more miles for $4000-4500.
The manual transmission in the SL/SC/SW was great--and likely made in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
I believe that the manual in the Vue was made by Fiat. GM had a stake in Fiat at one time.
Be careful.
