Hello Scotty,
We are looking to buy a minivan as I have a service dog and now a baby. What do you think about a 2007 Honda odyssey with 166k miles for $4000? There are no issues that we are aware of. It is through a private seller. Are there any issues to look out for?

Pass on Honda Odyssey’s. They are known for weak transmissions.

Look for a Toyota Sienna.

- I agree with dayWalker you should definitely try to get a Sienna if at all possible
- There were some years of Honda odysseys that did not have transmission issues you can look up online and see which years were okay but in general it is not going to be as reliable as a sienna
