Looking to buy a 2012 to 2016ish used minivan. I know the Toyota sienna appears to be the gold standard. However, it is slightly out of my price range. With those date ranges, would a Kia Sedona or Honda Odyssey be the more reliable choice? I would’ve originally assumed the Honda Odyssey, but research suggested that it doesn’t necessarily carry the Honda reliability reputation.

Well out of those choices. Yeah the Honda but I'm not a big fan. They had problems over the years. You're much better searching around for a. Sienna
