I am looking at a Mazda 6 for purchase from a dealership. You have a video about some of these having a less than reliable transmission. Here is my vin. VIN # JM1GL1V54H1128313. Other than having a mechanic look at it, are there any red flags you can see. Mazda 2017 Mazda 6 Touring, automatic, has about 50k miles.
Thanks, Hank
Those are relatively good ones I have no qualms about buying one but do have a guy like me check it out before you buy
2017 is probably the best year to buy and they are good cars, make sure to have a mechanic check it out though. The transmissions haven't had any problems as of now the Jatco and Ford transmissions are long gone.
Ever since they cut ties with Ford and patterned with Toyota, Mazda has been on the upswing. 2017 should be fine.
They are good cars. If it checks out go ahead and buy it.
