Power steering stopped read code low voltage charged the battery started to work again, then after some time stopped working. then for a few days on and off, now is off all the time and charging the battery doesn't help. The car has 140000 miles. Not sure if it's worth to try to fix it, or what the problem might be.

do the battery and alternator load test but if they're okay it generally means the electric motor start to break for the power assist and I would just either live with it or get rid of the car
