hey scotty,
I have a 2011 Mazda 3 with over 200K miles on it and I have a small leak. The break fluids is leaking inside the car. (I see it on the brake pedal) my mechanic tells me that is a hard job, and he has to take out the dashboard to fix the leak. What are your thoughts Do you think I should just replace the master cylinder?
love the show.

I've researched your car. My understanding is a 2011 Mazda 3's brake master cylinder and the booster are both located on the engine's firewall.
Your mechanic should not need to take out the dash out to change these components.
Is your master cylinder leaking into the brake booster, which is leaking onto your brake petal?

Did your mechanic state it was the master cylinder or the brake booster?
