We like the Mazda 5; it has the right features and is the size of vehicle we need. Are there particular years of Mazda 5 that we should avoid? Do any of them have the FW6A-EL transmission which you recommend in a video?

The weak part of those are the transmissions. I would avoid that car for the sake of various different transmissions (as well as different engines) used throughout its model years. The worst one was 2008.

What years are you looking at? We don’t have Mazda 5’s here in the U.S. Might in go under a different name?
The Mazda 5 (Premacy) was sold in North America from 2004 to 2018 (2015 for the US).
